This policy explains what information GateDeal collects, why, who receives it and what your rights are. We collect only what we need to sell and deliver your order.
Who we are
The site is run by GateDeal, which is responsible for the information collected on it. You can contact us by replying to any email from us.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, the items you ordered and any note you add.
- If you open an account: your email, and if you choose, your name, phone number, a password (stored only in scrambled form), saved addresses, wishlist, recently viewed products and your settings.
- Automatically: the cookies listed below, and technical records such as your IP address and browser type, which our server keeps for security.
- Your country and language: we guess them from your IP address and your device language settings, so prices, shipping and texts fit you. You can change them at the top of any page. The country is looked up on our own server with data from DB-IP (opens in a new tab); your address is not sent to anyone.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and track your order, and to help you with it.
- To send emails about your order and sign-in codes.
- To run your account: saved addresses, wishlist and history.
- To protect the site and our customers from fraud and abuse.
- To send deals and news, only if you turn this on in your account. You can turn it off at any time.
The law does not require you to give us this information. But without your contact details and address we cannot process or deliver your order.
Who receives it
- Our supplier and its warehouses, which pack your order (most of them are in China), and the shipping companies that deliver it.
- The companies that host our site and send our emails, only to provide these services.
- Whop, Inc., which processes card payments. Your card details go directly to Whop; we never see or store them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
GateDeal is run from Israel, and our suppliers and carriers work in other countries, mostly China. So your details may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own. We pass on only what is needed to deliver your order. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Fonts on the site come from Google Fonts, and product photos load from our supplier's servers. Like any website, these services receive your IP address when your browser loads them.
Cookies
We use only cookies the shop needs to work. They are not used for advertising.

Your accessibility menu settings are saved only in your own browser and are not sent to us. You can delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will then forget your cart and choices.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as the tax and accounting laws require (in Israel, up to 7 years). Account details are kept until you delete your account. Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes. You can clear your viewing history at any time.
How we protect it
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored only in scrambled form, and access to customer data is limited to what is needed to handle orders.
Your rights
- You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can delete your account yourself, under Profile & settings in your account.
- You can stop deals emails at any time in your account or from the link in the email.
- If you think we have not handled your information properly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, or to the Privacy Protection Authority in the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
- Depending on where you live, local law (for example the GDPR in the European Union) may give you more rights. We respect them.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
