This fountain pump has a built-in light; there's a switch on the back that needs to be adjusted. The light will illuminate in night mode.
If you switch to night mode, it won't work during the day; it will only work at night.
In automatic mode, it will spray water when the sun is shining during the day, and switch to battery power to spray water when the sun is not shining. However, it will not work at night when there is no power, but it will continue to work when there is power.
